The Firehouse includes the thoughtful and adaptive reuse of historic industrial elements, a wide variety of floor plans, technologically innovative and efficient systems, upscale amenities and lush green spaces, and spectacular views of the Center City skyline.

29 distinctive apartments in a restored 1800’s firehouse in the heart of Olde Kensington. Each unit features its own unique set of characteristics! The Firehouse was originally home to Historic Engine Company No. 29. This unique renovation pays homage to Philadelphia’s rich history of fire house design and offers the conveniences of a modern, upscale community.

Residents of The Firehouse can easily access the city’s best cultural and educational institutions, professional complexes, and entertainment hubs. The Girard Station of the Market-Frankford line is blocks away and the complex will have its own private off-street parking.

The Firehouse project has been a rewarding opportunity for the development team to utilize our real estate expertise and professional networks to benefit the relationships we are fostering within the community. Over the past 2 years, we have leveraged the renovation project to engage with students, professionals & community members by providing unique educational opportunities and professional development experiences associated with the skillful preservation and restorative efforts associated with the re-development of the historic Firehouse building.
 
Social cohesion and belonging have been key goals from our proposal phase, and the Firehouse project acknowledges the ongoing generational and cultural shifts due to recent redevelopment efforts.
